VoiceThread humanizes online communication, bringing the warmth and presence of interactive audio and video to your conversations, presentations, assessments, trainings, and more. Upload pictures, videos, presentations, or documents into a VoiceThread, and then record comments and invite others to participate in the conversation whenever and wherever they want.

Accessibility is at the heart of our product, from providing different participation methods to how we develop our tools. This is especially important as we are primarily used in education to enhance student engagement. VoiceThread is currently used by more than 25% of the top Universities in the U.S., but the applications are endless as shown by the wide variety of users. Everyone from kindergartners and professors, to architects, executives, engineers, and dance instructors have found our product useful. We are passionate about humanizing the experience of teaching, learning, and collaborating online.

Who we are

VoiceThread was founded in 2005, and we currently have about 30 employees. We have done quite a lot with such a small team, and are now looking to steadily grow over the next several years to make an even larger impact and expand into different industries. At VoiceThread folks are given the opportunity and flexibility to find unique ways to contribute to company goals and improve how we work. We pride ourselves on having an inclusive work environment and don’t mind bragging that we have a 50/50 gender split in leadership positions as well as the company as a whole. We know that the only way to build a product for all is by building an equally diverse team.
